The Ecolnet Investment Group was founded in year of 2000; the company is owned by the Ecolnet AG from Zurich majority. The owners of the Ecolnet-WTP joint-stock company set to solve the Hungarian waste management problems as an aim. The final purpose of the development is to realize a complex waste management system in Hungary, which consists of a transport division and a treating sections.

Our main tasks are:

• To establish and operate a thermal waste converting plant in North-Hungary, which will be able to treat various domestic and industrial waste with 80.000 tons annually. The locality of the site is near to Gyöngyös in the local industrial park. There are some technological innovations like the high burning temperature and the low emission level of the flue gas, which enhance the technology from the other solutions. This high-level technology suits the requirements of European Union and the native environmental regulations.

 

• To establish and operate a safe waste landfill to deposit the inert and sterile residues of the waste converting plant among other things.

The Ecolnet-WTP Company has been working on this project since year of 2000 with that kinds of large enterprises like Hessise Müllgesellschaft from Germany, Seghers and Indaver from Belgium and the Thermoselect from Switzerland. We are able to perform our tasks of a high standard, because the mentioned famous enterprises have those considerable experiences, which are indispensable to realise these kinds of projects.

The planned complex waste management system will be able to solve the serious waste problems of the region with high standard.
