The Household Goods Forwarder's Association of America,
Inc. is the world's largest union of auditing, forwarding,
moving, and shipping companies in the world. Together,
the members of American Movers help people successfully
relocate all over the world.
HHGFAA's training programs help improve packing, loading,
and other moving skills for forwarders, agents, and
service personnel throughout the world to further ensure
timely, cost-effective, and secure handling of goods.
HHGFAA's Annual Meeting, the largest international
gathering of movers, carriers, forwarders, and agents
in the world, has helped to build moving business in
over 115 countries for over 30 years. This meeting provides
our company with the premier networking and business
development forum otherwise not readily available in
one location.

FEDEMAC

The European Organisation of National Removals
Associations
FEDEMAC e.V. (The Federation of European
Movers Associations) was registered as an independent
European organisation on 1 January 1995. Today FEDEMAC
represents the interests of around 4.000 Professional
Moving Companies in 15 European Countries.
FEDEMAC's main function is to co-ordinate National
activities at a European level. Much of this work is
centred around lobbying at the EU Parliament and
Commission as well as liasing with National
associations, other Trade organisations such as the
IRU, the WCO (World Customs Organisation), BEUC
(Consumer's Group), TNL and official representatives.
FEDEMAC works continuously towards the harmonisation
of working methods, quality standards, training and
co-operation within the Moving industry.

Relocation Association

The European Relocation
Association (EuRA) was launched in Brussels in May 1998
in response to the increasing demand for an industry
body. The launch was the result of a year of
international co-operation.
To date EuRA has over 236 members worldwide.

EURA helps us follow trends such as:
- Changes in the industry including: downsizing; reorganization;
mergers and acquisitions; outsourcing, and the impact
these issues have on those who provide employee mobility
services to them.
- Work and family issues, which impact employee mobility
in complex ways and are important to anyone currently
in the workforce.
- Trends and best practices in international workforce
issues.
As an EURA member, we can count on publications,
conference events, and services to provide us with
information on all aspects of employee mobility
including:
- practices and trends in corporate assistance programs;
- real estate-related issues ranging from home sale
purchase and appraising to mortgage financing;
- movement of household goods;
- tax legislation and regulatory activity; and
- even the impact of moving on employees and their
families.
We grow our expertise and professionalism, multiply
our professional relationships, and create resources
