The Kerka Menti Fûrész Kft. was established in Lenti in 1922. In the whole country in Zala county have the biggest forests. Sándor Lámfalussy forest engineer was the company's founder. On starting the firm employed 120 peolpe, now 150 employers work here. At persent Németh János is the company's general director.

This state-owned company produce and realize parquetry stave, sawn timber, cabinet wood, parquet, lamella, flooring board and wainscot. Additional services are the reantable artificial seasoning and steaming. The most important machines of the prdoductive capacity: one Esterer log frame, two Primultini band saw, one high temperature kiln, two chest steaming machines, circular saws for trimming and planers.
