Cool stuff

This is not only about listening to music, it's also about how we listen to music. We would like to share with you some cool stuff that we love, because they make good music even better listening to.  Imagine all that technology put behind a record - you're not serious  listening to it with those 5 dollar-earbuds, don't you!

Native Instruments Traktor
DJ Software
Still DJing at home with some basic software? Get the real deal: Native Instrument's Traktor is an advanced DJ software with premium sound quality, EQs and effects. Its library section makes easy to scroll through the tracks burning the dancefloor and if you have extra bucks to spend, be sure to blow away your friends with a dedicated USB controller.

Apple iPod Touch
MP3 player
The Apple iPod Touch (or any iPhone) is still the most comfortable and cool way to have you record collection on-the-go. The sound quality is ok, using iTunes is a breeze and scrolling through the album covers with the cover-flow technique is pure science fiction. And of course, it's not only an MP3 player - this gadget is a very capable pocket computer also.

Apogee One
Computer soundcard
Are you seriously using your built-in soundcard? Well, you're missing then that real sound - get a proper one, like Apogee's One! Apogee is the Rolls of digital-analog sound converters, 10 years ago it was unimaginable to get an Apogee sound card at a price lower than an airplane's. One's design is  elegant and simple and hey - it has a high quality microphone built in for your rocking podcasts!

Technics 1210
Vinyl deck
It's not cheap, but it's the djs' one and only choice to spin vinyl records. Smooth spin, rock-solid engine and low-noise parts - these babies are best to listen to old triphop tracks from the nineties! But buying one will not be enough - and Ortophon diamond (needle, for newbies) and a serious phono amplifier will be needed to get a sound from it.

Harman Kardon Soundsticks
Amplified speakers
You can spend all your money on high-end audio units (or studio-grade, if you want better sound for less), or you can go for Harman Kardon's pompous Soundsticks. Long have we accepted the fact that most music will run from compressed MP3s, but do yourself a favor and order today proper speakers - you will be surprised how much bang for the bucks it offers.

AKG K240
Headphones

Room acoustics are a pain - expensive amplifiers, more expensive speakers and carefully designed room is needed to get a nearly perfect sound. High-end headphones are a good option if you want to go pro. Headphones are really personal choices, but we like AKG's K240s the most, with its transparent sound and smooth basses. You'll be surprised how much "new" things you will discover in your old records.

Alpine Musicsafe Pro
Earplugs

Nothing is more fun than enjoying live music - but careful with those tons of decibels, they can really harm your ears and there's no going back! To avoid a common and undoable ear injury called tinnitus spend a few bucks on small protective earbuds. The comfortable and cool looking Alpine Musicsafe Pro earplugs will let you enjoy the music at its best quality, but on a lower level.

More cool stuff will be added continuously.
