I am working on Penelope again.
Next version (0.7.0) will have :

• Reorganized the Z80 emulation code (now its only C++)
• Removed a lot of development overhead from the current GUI.
• New user interface and GUI to support realtime operation.
• DirectX support.
• New memory management code.
