3D Gallery In this section you can see some old and new stuff; higpoli, lowpoli(gameart), realistic, comic like pics, and also some flash animation I made. All works here are created with various open source tools, even the flash animations. (Blender, Gimp, Swftools, Inkscape, Imagemagick...) 2005-2006 J. vs. R. Background:It suppose to be my w10 entry on blendpolis.org but I could not manage to finish it in the time frame. The story is in short: a girl split up with her boyfrinde via sms... Inspiration:The idea for the pic come from a pic of a forum member from blendpolis.org namely JanSOLO, he created a marvelous pic that show three mobiles witch he designed. The mobile on my pic is a poor copy of my own Siemens m35i, with other color. Software: Blender 2.41, Gimp 2.2.6 Lighting: The lighting was created with light domme, manny lamps and a couple of spots. I copyd the spots and seperatly tuned the specular, diffuse, and shadow propertys. Texturing: The textures are mostly created in Gimp exept 2 bump map on the mobile (witch was created with blender procedurals... I used Stencils to better control them) and the drawings, wrightings witch I made myself with a pen, scannend, modified and put them together. Finaly, I also done some minor post pro on the pic. Comfortable This was my non-patricipating 24.016 entry on blendpolis.org. I'am responsible lately for the organisation of contest there. I wanted to inspire, motivate others to make something, but in first place I like the challange to create something in short time, cause its a lot of fun and makes me better and fasster. But this is a updated version of that; most of the textures are new, some modell too. The modell was created and rendered(Internal Scanline, cause thats speed advantage) with Blender 2.41, Textures and color correction done with Gimp 2.2.6. (Updated: 03.27.2006.) F1 Fobster Edition This was modeled in early 2005, originaly with the Blender F1 Contest in mind. I have not finished the pic at that time, neither have I partitipate at the contest. But this year I grabd out the project and begone to work on it again. (Gamechar) Syroc This was modeled in early 2005, but I dropt it that time, and only one year later in 2006 resurected. I rigged, animated, unwarped and now texturing it. Nothing special, but could try out things with it. It wasnt created with a special engine/game in mind, mostly just for fun. If you have at least flash player plugin 6 installed, you can see a test walkcykle of Syroc: no preloader; 1sec - 25f, 170KB (Series of jpeg files, swf created with jpeg2swf of swftools.) (Gamechar) Devil An other practice at game char modeling. This was modeled just recently and it is still a early work in progress and as so heavily in development. Softwares: Blender. (Gamechar) Bug An other practice at game char modeling. This was modeled just recently and it is still a early work in progress and as so heavily in development. Softwares: Blender. Pilger The original version of this modell was made with an old version of Blender, but this is slitly updated, particulary textured. A forum member of elysiun.com grabd out a old version of Blender just to see what he can do with it, and posted it on the forum to show others and inspire them to do the same. Well I thought its fun and thats the modell what I made with it. Btw. it still more or less a work in progress. Contakter Works I made this originaly for a firm called Contakter (www.contakter.hu) based in my town I live; for the flash based header of the website of them. On the link below you can find the flash animation on the stage it was (its not fully put together or even optimized for the final use, it was in progress at that time), based on the idea of them. I also made a placeholder anim for the site as that was in progress witch we used for one day or so. A caped guy moved his head and eyed. The modells, scenes are created and rendered with blender 2.40pre alpha(Internal Scanline and, Hybrid Raytracer with AO), Textures and color correction done with Gimp 2.2.6. Batch work done with Imagemagick, compositing and flash/shockwave's with Swftools(swftools.org); png2swf, and those script language swfc. If you have at least flash player plugin 6 installed, you can see the following test animation: no preloader (Series of png files, swf created with png2swf of swftools.) ANIM: Cowboy Walkcycle test animation part 1 (ca.216KB) Magma / Vulcano And again an other 24h blenderpolis contest pic. Just procedural textures were used as I can recall... Softwares: Blender. 2003-2004 Children of the desert (wip) It was intended to be a huge epychal pic with a mindblowing insanely lot of details, but on the rode I lose the interest I think but on the other hand I reused some of the modells for other projects. A earlyer wip wire of the same char above. It is by no means correct from the side of real anathomy it was created without any real or fictional reference. It was never intended to be/look photoreal by any means. I wanted for the hole scene a oilpainting like look. A wire still witd the same theme, but a other char, what also need a lot of work to be done :D . It should be a alien/fictional humanoid, from the desert. For the hole project I was loking for a madmax like look hightech mixed with nomad like life style clouding.
Again a diferent char for the same project. Wizzard (wip) This is still more or less a work in progress. Originali made for the w.07 on blendpolis.org. A concept art contest I helped to make happen, with flying mashines or so as theme. Another wip rendera from the wizzard that ride the mechanical cyber dragon. I made often such test renders to test if everything looks right. Sometimes in the modelling progress one can lose the objectivity. So I can see if evry detail looks so I intended it. A wire still witd the same theme, It still need a lot of work to be done. I still interested in the project and how know maybe sometime I finish it. I happend more thene onece that I resurected a old project to help create a new or plain to finish it as I wanted originaly. The models are created with Blender, in the september of 2004 I think.
